Having just completed the London Marathon in a new PB of 3:31:40 I have been left to reflect on what my new goals should be.
Still managing to achieve PBs in all my distances has made me think about where the next improvements will come from?
Our coach Alastair Macfarlane is constantly challenging us all to park our PB and move on. To quote the man himself "the only person who will not be improving there PB is him...."
I guess the PB should actually be referred to as a CB-CURRENT BEST!!
So that's where my goals are!
To qualify for Boston has always been my goal, largely because I never thought I'd be able to get close. I am now only 7 minutes away from that goal and as such 3:25 is my next target (although I believe I have a 3:20 in me!)
To do this I will need to improve my 5k/10k and half times and as such they have been amended on my Fetch page.
But for the record they are as follows:
5k-sub 20m
10k-sub 42m
Half-sub 1:34
Lets see how I get on!!
